NORD-13K "Tinker" Spotted solid Moorit, horned, single. Born 4-12-2000. Sire BLW-137H "Aslan", Dam BLW-15F "Tinkerbell". "Tinker" is a very white spotted moorit ram with a great wide horns. His snow white appearance is from spotting as spotting covers up all color so that the white wool (which is the spot) is snow white. The only part of him that is not covered by spotting is the single moorit patch on his left side.
A spotted solid moorit ram is the best way to find out what patterns or colors your ewes can be carrying as Moorit is recessive to Black, Solid is recessive to all other patterns, and spotting is recessive to no spotting.
Tinker's genetic make up is as follows:
| Color: | Moorit | Moorit |
| Pattern: | Solid | Solid |
| Spotting: | yes | yes |
Sire: BLW-137H "Aslan" White, strongly horned, twin. Born 4-21-98. Sire BLW-08F "Big Horn", Dam STS-45A "Shy Girl". He is a big bold ram that rules the farm. He has a very assertive style but will still come up to you to get petted under his chin. Although Aslan's Father was Black he also carries moorit. His sire is "Big Horn" BLW-F08, the lead ram at Jager Farm Icelandics and like his dad is big and square. All of his offspring inherit his strong horns and is useful for improving the horning of lines with weak horns.
Dam: BLW-15F "Tinkerbell", Solid Moorit, horn, twin. A calm and attentive mother, Tinkerbell is the granddaughter of Jager Farm's Solee. She has Solee's maternal skills and udder . Tinkerbell is four this spring and has a history of 1,1,2,1. Her fleece is a lovely moorit with undertones of pewter. She has a soft fleece with very short tog.
Because of the quality of Aslan's lambs we kept Tinker his son. The black twins born to Helge at 11 months is good proof that this is a good line. If you are interested in the offspring of any of our ewes let us know and we will let you know who we are breeding to Tinker! We will then send you info and pictures of the lambs next spring.
