BLW-H176*, Solid Moorit Horned Triplet, born 5-2-98.

Dam: STS-341E "Pearl", white, horn, single. Big boned, fine fleece.   An  excellent mother, unfortunately she was lost to bloat when the triplets were only 3 weeks old.

Sire: BLW-F08 "Big Horn", black, horn, twin, carries moorit. Big, square ram, deep-chested and long-backed. Big curling horns, untrimmed. Aggressive, though not to people.

This fellow has his sire's horns, big, beautiful and flaring. He is a step brother to our "Aslan", our head ram.  His dam was unfortunately lost to bloat when the triplets were three weeks old, and being uninterested in creep feed, the triplets raised themselves on pasture from three weeks old. Although smaller than he might otherwise have been, he bred well and is obviously very hardy! Lambs from this cross must be moorit and almost certainly well horned.

*- We do not own this ram but he can be found at Jager Farm Icelandics .   He was used as stud and was bred to our "Tinkerbell".
